What is My Linked In Card™ ? My Linked In Card™ is a project by QuoVadis Live! which gives everybody with an account on LinkedIn the possibility to have a digital business card directly accessible via QR Code scanning from a mobile phone.
People can already go to my LinkedIn profile from their mobiles and I can have a QR code that links to my LinkedIn profile page anytime. Why would I need a Linked In Card™? Because Linked In Cards™ show nicely on mobiles and make it really easy for people to connect. My Linked In Card™ was developed with the idea of one-click-to-action which is very convenient while on the go. Thus on a Linked In Card™ you can click to save contact details, click to call, click to text, click to connect, etc.
Do I need a LinkedIn account? Yes. Linked In Cards™ are created based on LinkedIn public profiles and company pages.
Do I have to give you my password for LinkedIn? No. We support secure, password-less OAuth authentication for My Linked In Card™
Do you have access to my connections? No. We give My Linked In Card™ users access to their connections Linked In Cards™ but we don't have access to your connections and nobody else but you have on My Linked In Card™
Do you store my LinkedIn profile and company details? Not unless you want us to. When you join we give you the option to have a free account created on QuoVadis Live! based on your profile and company information as a fallback feature.
Do you share my contact details with other applications and other third-parties? No. As per our previous QA we don't store your details. And should you decide to have an account open on QuoVadis Live! as per the privacy policy your contact details are not shared with any third party.
Who can see my contact details on My Linked In Card™? People with direct access to your Linked In Card™ can see your contact information. These are persons you facilitate your Linked In Card™ QR Code to and who scan it, persons you share your Linked In Card™ with via text-messaging, email or any other electronic mean. Your LinkedIn connections have also access to your Linked In Card™.
My Linked In Card is not created. Why? Your LinkedIn profile is either private or there is no page on LinkedIn for your company. If your profile is public on LinkedIn please make sure there is a page for your company and that the related position on your profile links to it.
How do I connect my position to my company page on LinkedIn? To connect your position to your company page please follow the steps stated in LinkedIn Help Center at https://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1588
How do I edit my Linked In Card™? You don't. Whenever you update your profile information on LinkedIn or your company page your Linked In Card™ is automatically updated. In other words your Linked In Card™ is always up-to-date as per your public profile and company information on LinkedIn.
My contact details are incomplete. Why? Your Linked In Card™ only shows the information you share on your LinkedIn public profile and your company information. Thus the contact details shown on your Linked In Card™ are those showing on your LinkedIn public profile and company page.
I currently hold multiple positions. Can I have multiple Linked In Cards™? Yes. You can have as many Linked In Cards™ as you like. One per current position.
How much does it cost to have a Linked In Card™? Nothing. A Linked In Card™ and a QR Code is free.
Is My Linked In Card™ affiliated with LinkedIn? No. My Linked In Card™ is not affiliated with LinkedIn Corporation in any way.
Doesn't My Linked In Card™ have to be affiliated with LinkedIn? No. My Linked In Card™ uses LinkedIn APIs and as per section 10.7 of the LinkedIn APIs Terms Of Use nothing in these Terms are construed as creating a partnership or joint venture of any kind between My Linked In Card™ and LinkedIn.
Can I see my connections Linked In Cards™? Yes. However you'll be able to interact with your connections Linked In Cards™ for the first 30 days of your free membership only. After your first 30 days you have the choice to upgrade to My Linked In Card+™ if you still want to interact with your connections Linked In Cards™.
Can I search people Linked In Cards™? Yes. However you'll be able to interact with peolple Linked In Cards™ for the first 30 days of your free membership only. After your first 30 days you have the choice to upgrade to My Linked In Card+™ if you still want to interact with other people Linked In Cards™.
Why are my search results limited to 100 only? The results are limited by the user's LinkedIn account level and the default is 100.
